Prosecco Wine
Prosecco wine is a white wine, a white Italian wine. Prosecco wine is made from the Glera grape, once called Prosecco until 2009, and is mainly used in dry or extra day sparkling Italian wines like Frizzante and Spumante. Prosecco is also the main ingredient in the delicious and very popular Bellini cocktail, and has become a popular substitute for Champagne due to its similar qualities and because it’s less expensive.
Here are two very popular Prosecco Wines.
Caposaldo Prosecco is a Champagne and sparkling wine. It is a non-vintage white wine by Caposaldo from Veneto, Italy. The color is pale straw with greenish undertones. The aroma is fruity with a hint of citrus, green apple and acacia flowers. Caposaldo Prosecco has an interesting blend of acidity and freshness with a full-bodied finish.
Santa Margherita Prosecco is another sparkling wine. It’s non-vintage by Santa Margherita from Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy. This Italian wine is steadily growing in popularity, and is one of the more highly sort-after wine whites. Santa Margherita is straw yellow in color, with a fine fruity fragrance and an elegant mousse. It is a pleasantly dry white wine with well-balanced acidity, and it delivers a fresh and lively flavor.
If you are looking to try a Prosecco wine, take a look at the Caposaldo Prosecco and the Santa Margeherita Prosecco. Theses two are very popularity and gaining traction.
Cheers!
